200 'Who's Most Likely To' Questions (Clean, for Family, Friends & Teens)

Two hundred clean 'who's most likely to' questions, grouped for family game night, kids, teens, friends and the classroom, with a random question button and simple rules so you can start in a minute.

“Who’s most likely to” is a group game where one player reads a question, such as “Who’s most likely to fall asleep during a movie?”, and everyone points at the person who fits best. The player with the most fingers wins the round and gets to explain themselves. Below are 200 clean questions sorted for family, kids, teens, friends and the classroom.

The game works because every question is really about shared memories. “Who’s most likely to lose the TV remote?” is not a question, it is a story everyone at the table already knows. That is why the pointing happens before anyone has finished reading, and why the person being pointed at usually laughs first.

How to play “who’s most likely to”

  1. Gather 3 to 20 players in a circle or around a table so everyone can see everyone else. Three is the minimum; five to ten is the sweet spot.
  2. One player reads a question out loud, or taps the random question button above and reads what comes up.
  3. On “three”, everyone points at the person they think fits. Pointing at yourself is allowed and often the funniest move.
  4. Count the fingers. The player with the most points “wins” the round. They can defend themselves, tell the story, or just take the bow.
  5. Settle ties with a quick re-vote between the tied players, or let the reader cast the deciding point.
  6. Pass the reading to the next player and keep going. There is no scoring unless you want some: a point per round won works for competitive groups.

Two variations worth trying. In picked person answers, you first choose one player at random (the free finger chooser does this on any phone), read the question, and that player names who fits and why. It is slower but kinder, because only one person is “judging.” In silent vote, give every player a number before you start; on “three” everyone holds up that many fingers instead of pointing. It keeps a classroom or a big family dinner from turning into a shouting match.

Tips to keep it kind

“Most likely to” is only fun when everyone wants to be pointed at. A few house rules keep it that way, especially with kids, cousins who tease, or a class that is still learning each other’s limits.

House rules

  • No questions about looks, weight or money. Every question on this page passes that test, and any question you add should too.
  • Anyone can pass. If a player does not want to be pointed at for a question, skip it with no explanation needed.
  • Keep it about habits and funny moments, not real mistakes. “Who’s most likely to lose their keys?” is a joke; “Who’s most likely to fail the test?” is not.
  • Let the winner tell the story. The best part of the game is the “okay, that was one time” that follows.

If you are hosting a bigger group, start with the family or classroom sections, where every answer is safe, and save the siblings and cousins list for the people who can take it. For a party with mixed ages, this pairs well with the Christmas party games list, and when you need to split everyone up afterwards, the random team generator does it in a tap.

Play it with one phone

The quickest way to run the game is the way the Finger Chooser app does it: everyone puts a finger on one phone, a short countdown runs, and one finger lights up. That player is “picked.” In the app’s Most Likely mode, a “most likely to” question appears right after the pick, the picked player reads it out, and everyone points. Each pack (Family, Teens and Friends) comes with 15 of these questions, and you can write your own for inside jokes. Because the pick is random and the questions are on screen, nobody has to be the host, nobody argues about whose turn it is to read, and the phone works offline at a sleepover, in the car or at a campsite. If you just want to settle who goes first before a board game, the same finger pick does that too.

Frequently asked questions

How do you play 'who's most likely to'?

Sit in a circle, read a question out loud, and on the count of three everyone points at the person they think fits. Count the fingers: the player with the most points wins the round and can tell the story behind it. Then the next player reads a question. Keep going until the laughter runs out or someone has to go to bed.

How many players do you need?

Three is the minimum, because with two people the answer is always the other person. The game is at its funniest with 5 to 10 players who know each other, and it still works with a class of 20 if you use the silent finger vote described above so the room doesn't turn into a shouting match.

Are these questions clean and safe for kids?

Yes. Every one of the 200 questions on this page is family-safe: no alcohol, nothing romantic, nothing about looks, weight or money, and nothing that invites real embarrassment. The kids section is written for ages 5 to 10, and the teens section is fine for a youth group or a school club.

How do we play it with one phone?

In the Finger Chooser: Teams & Dares app, everyone puts a finger on the screen and the app picks one person at random. In Most Likely mode it then shows that player a 'most likely to' question for the group to answer. Each pack (Family, Teens, Friends) has 15 questions, and you can write your own in the app.

Can you play 'most likely to' over a video call?

Yes, and it works well. The host reads a question, everyone types a name in the chat at the same time or holds their answer up to the camera on three. Typing the names is the fairest version because nobody can see what the others chose first. Use the random question button on this page to keep the pace up.

What's the difference between 'most likely to' and 'never have I ever'?

In 'most likely to' the group votes on who fits a description, so the fun is in the pointing and the reactions. In 'never have I ever' each player says something they have never done and anyone who has done it puts a finger down. 'Most likely to' needs no confessions, which makes it the easier game for mixed ages.
